My name is Hailey Castillo, and I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Alabama in May.
My interests span from working in philanthropy, digital media, journalism, marketing, strategic communication to everything in between.
Over the past four years, I have gained vast experience working in social media, writing, communication planning and event management for nonprofits and sports teams.
I have experience creating communication plans, social media and printed deliverables, and copy work for different nonprofits in the state of Alabama, including Family Counseling Service, Autism Support of Alabama, Cahaba River Society and Secret Meals For Hungry Children.
Within the last year, I've worked directly with the Southeastern Conference, NCAA and University of Alabama athletics department and plan to continue to do so through the remainder of my senior year.
Through educational and leadership experiences, I would love to offer a well-rounded skillset to an organization or foundation in the sport, media and/or entertainment industries with my interests including journalism, digital media, strategic communication, marketing, event management and philanthropy.
